Two projects with different requirements but one goal Project

Project 1 in Loßburg – Wittendorf – Detached house 120 m² living space.

6 strands of the GeoCollect absorber were laid in a depth of 1.5 m. In this project, it was proven that it is possible to realize a geothermal heating despite a slim budget. The costs were influenced by the use of state subsidies as well as the exact coordination and partial consolidation of the different trades on the level of a good air-water heat pump.

Project 2 in Loßburg – Wittendorf – Detached house 200 m² living space.

7 strands of GeoCollect geothermal heaters were installed at a depth of 1.5 m. This project had to take into account the fact that the building was also passively cooled in the summer as well as a tiled stove integrated into the system. The design of the GeoCollect absorbers has been adapted. The control and regulation was realized via the energy bus EB 7000 WP as well as the module passive cooling of the company Effitec. This makes it possible to cool the building efficiently in the summer, while at the same time regenerating the soil around the GeoCollect absorbers.

The installation of both units took place at the end of October shortly before the first frosty nights. Thus the natural regeneration of the soil over the summer months was not given. The drying program for the screed was started at the end of January in the deepest winter. The builders were initially quite skeptical whether it is possible to generate this very high energy requirement solely via the GeoCollect system. We started the drying programs and the slow heating of the buildings at minus temperatures in the building shells and a pre-heating temperature of + 5 ° C brine.

After 3 weeks both buildings were warm and the last skeptics of GeoCollect System completely convinced.
